FAQs
Will sealing stop etching?
No. Sealing helps with stains. Etching is chemical damage and needs Honing and possibly Polishing.
Can you fix deep scratches?
Most surface scratches come out during honing. Very deep gouges may need localized repairs. We will show you during testing.
How often should limestone be polished?
Homes often refresh high-traffic areas yearly. Busy entries and commercial spaces may need quarterly touch-ups. See Maintenance Plans.
Is polished limestone slippery?
High gloss has less grip than honed. If traction is a concern, choose a honed or satin finish.
How long until we can walk on it?
Light foot traffic is usually fine the same day. If sealing is applied, we will provide simple cure times.
